West Wight dominated the game but only manage to convert their possesion once before half time with a cross from Dean Heather down the left hand side which was met by Danny Ross in the box. Several chances passed for West Wight and sandown. The second half saw continued pressure with Danny Ross slotting passed the keeper and then Simon Merrit following up a Danny Ross free kick. Solid performances for Dave Groves and Mark Dun Coleman as well as GK Richard Monk. Both Pete Millar and Nathan Millar continued to come close to expanding the lead before Simon Merrit won a penalty which was converted by Danny Ross for his hatrick.
